About BLW Visser

History

Even before the Second World War B.L.W. Visser started to supply machines for the textile industry. B.L.W. Visser stays ahead when it comes to the newest techniques. Even when the textile industry changed rapidly and factories in the Netherlands and Belgium started to specialize more and more in the production of technical textiles and the production of plastic products. B.L.W. Visser adapted and fine-tuned its product range as market demand changed.

The Revolution

In 1990 the sensors and later the fire detection followed. Around that time also the original chemicals department, B.L.W. Chemische Producten, merged with Vogelzang Chemie to become the company Visser Vogelzang Chemie, now called Vivochem. B.L.W. Visser entered the twenty-first century as an independent company with meanwhile 3 product groups: Fire Detection, Sensors and Machines for the Textile and Plastic Industry. A number of chemical specialties also fall under this last group.
